The RTL8381M is a new generation of gigabit switch that supports Energy-efficient Ethernet (EEE). The RTL8381M is a 14-port 10/100/1000M switch controller.

The RTL8381M supports two pairs of SGMII/1000BASE-X.

The RTL8381M also supports a serially connected QSGMII interface port to connect to a 14 Gigabit PHY(RTL8214FC/RTL8214C).

Support two pairs of SGMII/1000BASE-X

Supports a pair of QSGMII connections to an external 4-port 10/100/1000 m Ethernet phys.

Flexible interfaces for internal or external cpus

Serial/Dual I/O mode 32 MB SPI flash memory

Up to 128 MB of DDR 1/DDR 2 and 256 MB of DDR 3 are used for the internal MIPS-4 KEc

Embed MIPS-4KEc with MMU
