The RTL8353M is a 48-port 10/100M and 4-port 10/100/1000M managed Ethernet MAC switch controller. It supports 6 pairs of 2.5Gbps XSMII and 1 pair of QSGMII to connect to external 48-port fast Ethernet and 4-port Gigabit Ethernet PHY transceivers. The mode is 48 10/100BASE-T 4 combinations of 10/100/1000BASE-T/SFP.

The RTL8353M is embedded with a MIPS-34Kc CPU with a frequency of up to 700MHz. It supports 32-bit data bus, 64MB SPI flash memory (3-byte mode) or 64MB SPI flash memory (4-byte mode) and 256M bytes DDR3 SDRAMs(maximum). Furthermore, the RTL8353M also embeds 96KB of SRAM and can be used in time-sensitive applications.
