The RTL8332M is a new generation of fast Ethernet switch that supports high-efficiency Ethernet (EEE). The RTL8332M is a 24-port FE switch controller with an 8-port built-in FE PHYs.

The RTL8332M supports two pairs of serially connected XSMII interface ports for connecting two eight-channel FE PHYs(RTL 8208l), and one serially connected QSGMII interface port for connecting one four-channel gigabit PHY. The RTL8332M supports 1 pair of RSGMII or 2 pairs of SGMII/1000Base-X/100Base-FX.
