The MAX9669ETI outputs 16 reference voltages for gamma correction of TFT LCD displays and one voltage reference for VCOM. each gamma reference has a 10-bit digital/analog converter (DAC) and corresponding buffer to ensure stable system operation. the VCOM reference voltage has its own 10-bit DAC and amplifier to ensure stable voltages are maintained during critical levels and stencil display. The MAX9669ETI features integrated multiple-times-programmable (MTP) memory for on-chip storage of gamma and VCOM values, eliminating the need for an external EEPROM.The MAX9669ETI's on-chip non-volatile memory supports up to 100 write operations.
The gamma output provides a peak transient current drive of 200mA, stabilising within 1µs, and the VCOM output provides a peak transient current drive of 600mA, also stabilising within 1µs. The analogue supply voltage range is between 9V and 20V and the digital supply voltage range is between 2.7V and 3.6V.
Gamma and VCOM values are programmed into registers via the I²C interface.
