The CY7C1021DV33-10VXI is a high performance CMOS static RAM organised in 65,536 words of 16 bits. The device has an automatic power-down feature that significantly reduces power consumption when deselected. Writing to the device is accomplished by setting the chip enable (CE) and write enable (WE) inputs low. If the byte low enable (BLE) is low, data in the I/O pins (I/O0 to I/O7) is written to the location specified on the address pins (A0 to A15). If Byte High Enable (BHE) is low, data in the I/O pins (I/O8 to I/O15) will be written to the location specified on the address pins (A0 to A15). Reading data from the device can be achieved by setting the chip enable (CE) and output enable (OE) low, while setting the write enable (WE) high. If the low byte enable (BLE) is low, data at the memory location specified by the address pin will be displayed on I/O0 to I/O7. If Byte High Enable (BHE) is low, data in memory will be displayed on I/O8 through I/O15.
