The HMC573LC3B is an x2 active wideband frequency multiplier using GaAs PHEMT technology in a RoHS compliant pin-free SMT package. When driven by a +5 dBm signal, the HMC573LC3B offers a typical output power of +12 dBm and operates at frequencies from 8 to 22 GHz. At 16 GHz, Fo and 3Fo isolates are >20 dBc and >25 dBc, respectively.

The HMC573LC3B is ideal for use in the LO frequency doubling chain of point-to-point and VSAT radios, allowing for a reduced number of devices compared to traditional methods. Low additive SSB phase noise of -134 dBc/Hz at 100 kHz bias helps maintain good system noise performance.
