Product Description

AMC1305-Q1 device is a high-precision device Δ-Σ ( ΔΣ) The modulator isolates the output and input circuits through a capacitive double barrier with high magnetic field immunity. According to DIN V VDE V 0884-10, UL1577 and CSA standards, the barrier is certified to provide enhanced isolation up to 7000 V peak. When used with isolated power supply, the device can prevent noise current on the common mode high voltage line from entering the local system grounding, thus interfering or damaging the low voltage circuit.

AMC1305-Q1 is optimized for direct connection of shunt resistors or other low-voltage signal sources, and has excellent DC and AC performance. Shunt resistor is usually used to sense the current in traction inverter, on-board charger or similar automotive applications. By using an appropriate digital filter (i.e. integrated in TMS320F2837x) to extract the bit stream, the device can achieve a 16-bit resolution of 85dB (13.8 ENOB) in the dynamic range at a data rate of 78kSPS.

On the high side, the modulator is powered by 5V (AVDD) nominal voltage, while the isolated digital interface is powered by 3.3V or 5V power supply (DVDD).

AMC1305-Q1 is packaged with wide body and small form factor integrated circuit (SOIC) - 16 (DW).
