The AD4004BCPZ is a low-noise, low-power, high-speed 16-bit Sequential approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) with Easy Drive features, such as high impedance mode and extended acquisition phase, by expanding the range of supporting circuits that can be paired with these ADCs. Provides signal chain architecture flexibility.
The ADC is powered by a single power supply (VDD), allowing the reference voltage source VREF to be applied externally and set independently of the power supply voltage. With a fast suite throughput of up to 1 MSPS, the AD4004 can accurately capture high-frequency signals and implement oversampling techniques to mitigate the challenges associated with anti-aliasing filter design. In addition, the power consumption of the ADC is linearly related to the throughput.
The AD4004 is suitable for a variety of applications, including medical devices, machine automation and battery powered devices, especially for applications requiring low power consumption and high precision .
