The CTC8096 (GoldenGate) is a high-performance Ethernet switching chip designed for high-density 10GE/40GE applications, providing a competitive hardware acceleration solution for network virtualization applications.

The CTC8096 inherits a wealth of features, including basic L2 and L3 applications to a variety of advanced complex networking functions, which also makes the CTC8096 an ideal choice for a variety of complex networking convergence applications.

The CTC8096 provides up to 96 10GE ports, or 24 40GE, or 80 10GE + 4 100GE. The SerDes design satisfy multiple port protocol: SGMII/XAUI/DXAUI XFI/SFI / 10 g - KR / 40 g - - KR4 KR4/100 g.
