NX48P0407HNR2 is a CC and SBU protection IC that can avoid the damage of the short-circuited VBUS on the CC and SBU pins of the Type-C interface. It is suitable for USB-PD EPR applications. USB Type-C allows the VBUS voltage to be increased to 48V via the PD 3.1 protocol.
