The MAX86165EFB is an ultra-low power, fully integrated optical data acquisition system. On the transmitter side, the MAX86165 has a programmable low noise LED driver with an IR transmitter. On the receiver side, the MAX86165 consists of a high-efficiency PIN photodiode and an optical readout channel. Due to its low power consumption, compact size, ease of use and flexibility, the MAX86165 is ideal for use in a variety of optical sensing applications, such as heart rate detection and close detection in tight Spaces such as earplugs.
