The CYW43022 has a built-in Bluetooth protocol stack and Wi-Fi networking standalone mode, enabling it to remain connected and active even when the host processor is in low-power sleep mode.

The CYW43022 supports 256-QAM and can achieve data rates of up to 78Mbps. The 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands include on-chip power amplifiers and low noise amplifiers, as well as an internal +20dBm Bluetooth power amplifier.
