The TPS65217x is a single-chip power management IC (PMIC) designed to power the AM335x ARM®Cortex®-A8 processor in portable and 5V line-powered applications. regulators and a high-efficiency boost converter that can power up to 10 LEDs in two strings each. The system can be powered by any combination of USB ports, 5V AC adapters or Li-Ion batteries. The device features a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, which makes it suitable for industrial applications. Three high efficiency 2.25MHz buck converters can supply the system with core, memory and I/O voltages. the TPS65217x device is available in a 48-pin leadless package (6-mm x 6-mm VQFN) with a 0.4mm pitch.
