The KSZ9567RTXI is a fully-integrated, Layer 2 managed, seven-port Gigabit Ethernet switch with a host of advanced features. Five of the seven ports have integrated 10/100/1000 Mbps PHYs, and the other two ports can be configured as SGMII, RGMII, MII, or RMII interfaces, any of which can be connected directly to a host processor or an external PHY; the SGMII port can be connected to a fibre optic transceiver.

Full register access is available through the SPI or I²C interfaces, and optional in-band management is available through either data port.PHY register access is provided by the MIIM interface.

Security features include support for IEEE 802.1X port-based authentication and access control list (ACL) filtering.
