The HITAG® reader chip HTRC11001T can be used in conjunction with transponders using the NXP HITAG transponder IC.
In addition, the IC supports other 125 kHz transponder types that can use AM for write operations and AM/PM for read operations. The receiver parameters (gain factor, filter cut-off frequency) can be optimised for system and transponder requirements.The HTRC110 is designed for easy integration into RFID readers. Advanced technology enables almost complete integration of the necessary building blocks. A powerful antenna driver/modulator combined with a low noise adaptive sample time demodulator, programmable filters/amplifiers and digitiser builds a complete transceiver unit that meets the needs of designing high performance card readers. A three-pin microcontroller interface is used for programming the HTRC110 and for bidirectional communication with the transponder. The three-wire interface can be changed to a two-wire interface by connecting data inputs and data outputs.
