The MLX91219LVA-AAA-502-BU is a monolithic Hall effect sensor to a magnetic flux density orthogonal to the surface of an integrated circuit. The sensor provides an analogue output voltage that is proportional to the applied magnetic flux density. The sensors provide an analogue output voltage proportional to the applied flux density, and the transfer characteristics are factory temperature-tuned and programmable (offset, sensitivity, filtering, internal overcurrent threshold). 400kHz bandwidth and fast response time make them particularly suitable for high-speed applications such as inverters and converters. In typical current sensing applications, the sensors need to respond within a short period of time.
