The ALT80800KLPATR is a compact, high efficiency, low EMI LED driver for automotive lighting applications. It is a synchronous buck switching regulator that provides a constant current output to drive high power leds. It integrates high-end and low-end N-channel DMOS switches for DC-DC buck conversion. The user can select the output current through the external current detection resistor and automatically adjust the output voltage to drive a different number of leds in a single string.
