The STM32MP153FAA1 microprocessor is based on a high-performance dual-core ARM® Cortex®-A7 32-bit RISC core in a 448 pin LFBGA package with operating frequencies up to 800 MHz. The Cortex-A7 processor includes a 32kb L1 instruction cache per CPU, a 32kb L1 data cache per CPU, and a 256 kb level 2 cache. The Cortex-A7 processor is a very power efficient application processor designed to deliver rich performance for high-end wearables as well as other low power embedded and consumer applications.
The STM32MP153FAA1 device also has an embedded Cortex®-M4 32-bit RISC kernel operating at up to 209 MHz. The Cortex-M4 core features floating-point unit (FPU) single precision and supports Arm® single precision data processing instructions and data types.
