The LTC4425EMSE is a constant-current/constant-voltage linear charger designed to charge 2-cell supercapacitor stacks from Li-ion/polymer batteries, USB ports, or 2.7V to 10V voltage converters. The device acts as an ideal diode with an extremely low 50mΩ on-resistance, making it suitable for high peak power/current limiting supplies. Charge the output capacitor to an externally programmed output voltage at a constant charge current in LDO mode or to VIN at a constant charge current in normal mode.
