The LTC2971IY-3 is a dual-channel high-voltage power system manager for sequencing, trimming (servoing), margining, monitoring and fault management, providing telemetry, and logging faults.The DAC uses a proprietary soft-connect algorithm to minimise power supply disturbances. Monitoring features include over- and under-voltage and temperature threshold limits for both power supplies. A programmable fault response disables the power supply, configures retries, and triggers a black box EEPROM to store fault status and associated telemetry. Internal 16-bit ADC monitors two output voltages, two output currents, two external temperatures, input voltage and current, and chip temperature.
