The MSC030SDA170B device is a 1700V 82A (SIC) Schottky diode in a TO-247 through-pass package. The device has excellent dynamic and thermal performance, which is superior to the traditional silicon power diode. Silicon carbide barrier diode is composed of silicon (Si) and carbon (C). Compared with pure silicon devices, SIC devices have higher dielectric breakdown field strength, higher band gap and higher thermal conductivity.
