The A4910KJPTR is a three-phase controller for use with N-channel external power MOSFETs dedicated to automotive applications. Bootstrap capacitors are used to provide the supply voltage required by the N-channel MOSFETs for the battery N-channel MOSFETs described above. An internal charge pump driven from the internal high voltage side enables DC (100% duty cycle) operation. All six power MOSFETs in the three-phase bridge are fully controllable, allowing the motor to be driven with block commutation or sinusoidal excitation. The power MOSFETs are protected against breakdown by integrated crossover control and programmable dead time.
