The LAN8831T-V/Q2A Gigabit Ethernet transceiver (with GMII/MII/RGMII ) is a fully integrated three-speed Ethernet physical layer transceiver. The device is designed to send and receive data over standard CAT-5, CAT-5e, and CAT-6 unshielded twisted pair (UTP) cables. An industry-standard GMII/MII (Gigabit Media Independent Interface/Media Independent Interface) is provided for connection to a GMII/MII MAC in a Gigabit Ethernet processor for data transmission at 1000Mbps or 10/100Mbps.
