The FUSB251UCX is an I2C control switch with overvoltage protection on the CC and SBU pins of the Type-C interface port. The device has SPST switches on CC1/2 and SBU1/2 that are automatically enabled when VDD is active. Therefore, Type-C/PD controllers can use the overvoltage-protected CC path. With dead mode, CC is pulled down with Rd. In this mode, the source device provides Vbus for battery charging. another feature is humidity detection on the CC and SBU paths.
