The ADP2450ASTZ-2 power management IC is optimised for use in low voltage circuit breakers such as moulded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) and current transformer power supply applications. The device integrates four low-dropout, low-power amplifiers. The programmable gain enables accurate measurements over a wide current input range based on the CT turns ratio. Low-distortion operational amplifiers are integrated into the device for leakage current detection. The buck regulator operates over a wide input voltage range of 4.5V to 36V. The output voltage is adjustable down to 0.6 V. The output current of the buck regulator is up to 500 mA.
