The LT8391AIFE is a synchronous 4-switch buck-boost LED controller that regulates the LED current based on an input voltage that is above, below or equal to the output voltage. The proprietary peak buck/peak boost current mode control scheme supports adjustable and synchronisable 600kHz to 2MHz fixed frequency operation or internal 25% delta spread spectrum operation for reduced EMI. With 4V to 60V inputs and 0V to 60V outputs, and support for seamless, low-noise transitions between operating regions, the LT8391AIFE is an ideal choice for LED driver and battery charging applications in automotive, industrial and LED driver and battery charging applications in battery-powered systems.

The LT8391AIFE provides internal (up to 128:1) and external (up to 2000:1) LED current PWM dimming with high-end PMOS switches.
