The ADL5310ACPZ is a low-cost, dual logarithmic amplifier that converts input current to a linear decibel output over a wide dynamic range. Converts input current to a decibel linear output voltage over a wide dynamic range. It is optimised for use in determining optical power in a variety of optical communication system applications, including control circuits for lasers, optical switches, attenuators and amplifiers, as well as system monitoring. The device is equivalent to a dual-channel AD8305 with greater dynamic range (120 dB). It also contains two independent signal channels with individually configurable transfer function constants.
