The ADL5308ACCZ is a logarithmic transimpedance amplifier optimised for wide dynamic range signal level monitoring in fibre optic systems. It generates an accurate temperature-compensated output voltage that is logarithmically proportional to the ratio of the input current at pin INP to the reference current. The reference current can be generated internally or supplied externally via the IREF interface (Log Ratio Detection). Both the logarithmic slope and intercept are accurately adjusted to nominal values of 200 mV/dec and 10 pA, respectively.
