The TLE9255WSK is part of a new family of CAN transceivers that are fully compliant with the new ISO11898-2 and former ISO11898-6 standards in 2016. The transceiver comes in a standard DSO-14 package. In addition to some of the CAN network functions, the transceiver is also compatible with CAN FD and CAN drive and receive CAN FD messages up to 2Mbit/s. The SPI interface of the device is used to set wake-up function, INH output control, mode control and undervoltage control of the device. This makes the TLE9255WSK very flexible for use in different automotive applications.
