The IMC102TF064 high-performance motor control IC integrates hardware and algorithms for permanent magnet synchronous motors (PMSM). The IMC100 IC can control variable speed drives and reduce time to market for motor systems with lower system and development costs. Infineon's patented and field-proven Motion Control Engine (MCE) enables field-oriented control (FOC). This is achieved through single shunt or leg shunt feedback, in addition to the use of space vector PWM (with sine wave signal) for high energy efficiency.
