The ACPL-351J-000E is a 5A smart gate drive optocoupler. The high peak output current and wide operating voltage range are ideal for direct driving of IGBT or SiC/GaN MOSFETs in motor control and inverter applications. The device features fast propagation delays and excellent timing offset performance. It provides overcurrent protection for the IGBT/MOSFET and externally isolated feedback for fault signals. The gate drive optocoupler is available in a compact, surface-mount SO-16 package. It has reinforced insulation and meets safety regulations IEC/EN/DIN, UL, and CSA safety regulation approvals.
