The SSM3582ACPZ is a fully integrated, high efficiency, digital input Class D stereo audio amplifier. A proprietary spread spectrum sigma-delta modulation scheme allows direct connection to speakers. The direct connection ensures top analogue performance while providing lower emissions compared to other Class D architectures. An optional ultra-low electromagnetic interference (EMI) mode dramatically reduces electromagnetic emissions above 100MHz. Audio is transmitted digitally to the amplifier. This transmission method minimises the potential for signal corruption in a digital environment. Provides excellent analogue performance with a signal-to-noise ratio in excess of 106dB and total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+ N) as low as 0.004%.
