The LT3008ITS8-5 are micropower, low dropout (LDO) linear regulators. These devices provide 20mA of output current with a dropout voltage of 300mV. no-load quiescent current is 3μA. ground pin current is less than 5% of output current. Quiescent current at shutdown is less than 1μA. Low ESR ceramic capacitors are used to optimise stability and transient response. Requiring as little as 2.2μF, the regulator eliminates the need for ESR, which is common with other regulators. internal protection circuitry includes current limit, thermal limit, and reverse battery protection.
