The LT3967EFE is an LED bypass switching device for dimming individual LEDs in a string using a common current source. It has eight independently controlled float source 15V/110mΩ NMOS switches. The eight switches can be connected in parallel and/or series to bypass the current around the LEDs in the string. An I2C serial interface is used to communicate with the microcontroller. Each of the eight channels can be independently programmed to turn the LED string on or off in a constant bypass mode, or PWM dimming with or without a fade transition. Exponential transitions between PWM dimming states are available with 11-bit resolution using the programmable fade option.
