MSC010SDA120B Schottky Barrier Diodes (SBDs) offer excellent dynamic and thermal performance over conventional silicon power diodes. Silicon carbide barrier diodes consist of silicon (Si) and carbon (C). Silicon carbide devices have higher dielectric breakdown field strength, higher band gap and higher thermal conductivity than pure silicon devices. Silicon carbide Schottky diodes have zero forward and reverse recovery charge, which reduces diode switching losses. These devices also feature temperature-independent switching to ensure stable high-temperature performance.
