The LTC4286AUK is an integrated solution for hot-swap applications, allowing the board to be safely inserted onto and removed from a powered backplane. Reliable overload protection is achieved by utilising a circuit breaker timer that prevents metal oxide semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) from overheating. the SMBus 3.1 interface, PMBus command structure and on-board analogue-to-digital converters (ADCs) with selectable rms values and speeds allow monitoring of board currents, voltages, powers, temperatures, and fault status.
