The STPSC40H12CWL SiC diode in a TO-247 LL package is an ultra-high efficiency Schottky power rectifier. It is manufactured using a silicon carbide substrate. The wide band gap material gives the Schottky diode structure a low VF and a voltage rating of 1200 V. Due to the Schottky structure, there is no recovery when switching and the ringing mode is negligible. The minimum capacitive behaviour at switch-off is independent of temperature.
