The TAS5411-Q1 is a mono Class d audio amplifier ideal for automotive emergency calling (eCall), telematics, and instrument clustering applications. The device offers up to 8 W to 4 Ω under 10% THD+N from 14.4 vdc automotive batteries. The wide operating voltage range and excellent efficiency make the device ideal for start-stop support or running from backup batteries when needed. Integrated load dump protection reduces the cost and size of external voltage clamps, and on-board load diagnostics report speaker status via i2c.
