The MAX20053CAUD/V is a high brightness LED (HBLED) driver for automotive exterior lighting applications. The device consists of a fully synchronous buck converter with integrated MOSFETs capable of driving series LED strings at up to 2A with minimal external components. the MAX20053CAUD/V features external compensation for full flexibility. a wide input supply range of 4.5V to 65V supports extreme automotive cold-start and load-surge conditions. Low switching frequency and high switching frequency options (400kHz or 2.1MHz) give designers the flexibility to optimise the size or efficiency of their solution while avoiding interference in the AM band.
