The MAX25611CATC/VY is a single-channel HBLED driver for automotive headlighting applications such as high beams, low beams, daytime running lamps (DRLs), turn signals, fog lamps, and other LEDs. it accepts input voltages from 5V to 36V, and drives a string of LEDs with a maximum output voltage of 60V. a string of LEDs with a maximum output voltage of 65V. The MAX25611CATC/VY senses the output current at the high side of the LED string. The high voltage side current is detected to protect the output from short circuits to ground or battery input. This is the most flexible solution for driving LEDs, allowing boost, high-side buck, SEPIC mode, or buck-boost mode configurations. the PWM input provides LED dimming ratios up to 5000:1, while the REFI input provides additional analogue dimming capability in the MAX25611CATC/VY.
