Description:

The ADuM342E is a four-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices' iCoupler® technology. These isolation elements combine high-speed, complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and back-to-back monolithic air-core transformer technologies to provide outstanding performance characteristics and meet the CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limit of 5Mbps. At 5V operation, the maximum propagation delay is 10ns and the pulse width distortion is less than 3ns. At a maximum of 3.0ns, the channel matching is tight.


The ADuM342E data channel is self-contained and available in a variety of configurations with a withstand voltage rating of 5.7kV RMS. These kits operate at supply voltages (either end) between 2.25V and 5.5V, are compatible with lower voltage systems, and support voltage conversion across isolation grids.


With two different fail-safe options, the output can be converted to a predetermined state when the input power is not connected.
