The OPA1633DR is a fully differential audio amplifier designed to drive high-performance audio analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) or serve as a pre-driver for Class D amplifiers. This amplifier has the following main characteristics

• Excellent sound quality

• Ultra-low distortion: 132dB

• Low noise: 1.1nV/√Hz

• High speed:

- Pressure swing rate: 80 V/μs

-gain-bandwidth product: 200MHz

• Completely differential architecture:

Balancing input and output converts single-ended input to balanced differential output

• Wide power supply voltage range: ±2.5V to ±17.5V

Details

The OPA1633DR amplifier can achieve outstanding audio quality, extremely low noise, large output voltage swing and high current drive. The OPA1633DR features an outstanding gain bandwidth of 200MHz and an ultra-fast slew rate of 80V/µs, enabling extremely low distortion. A very low input voltage noise of 1.1nV/√Hz can further provide a larger signal-to-noise ratio and dynamic range.


The flexibility of the fully differential architecture helps to easily achieve the conversion from single-ended to fully differential output. Differential output can reduce even harmonics and minimize common-mode noise interference. The OPA1633DR offers outstanding performance when used to drive high-performance audio ADCs such as PCM1804. A shut-off function has been added to save power when the device is not in use.


The OPA1633DR can operate normally within a temperature range of -40 °C to +85°C and is packaged in SO-8.
