The LTC5592 is part of a family of dual-channel, high-dynamic range, high-gain down-conversion mixers that cover the RF frequency range from 600MHz to 4.5GHz. The LTC5592 is optimized for 1.6GHz to 2.7GHz RF applications. The LO frequency must be in the 1.5GHz to 2.5GHz range for excellent performance. A typical application of this device is an LTE or WiMAX receiver with a 2.3GHz to 2.7GHz RF input and low end LO.
The LTC5592's high conversion gain and dynamic range allow for the use of looser IF filters in highly selective receiver designs with minimal overall solution cost, board level space, and system level deviation. The device also offers a low current mode for additional energy savings, and each mixer channel has independent shutdown control.
