Product Overview

The AD7616BSTZ is a 16-bit, 16-channel, dual-channel synchronous sampling data acquisition system (DAS) designed for high-precision analogue signal acquisition applications. The AD7616BSTZ is packaged in an LQFP-80 package, supporting ±10V, ±5V, and ±2.5V true bipolar inputs. Each pair of channels achieves a sampling rate of up to 1 MSPS, with a signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 90.5 dB (up to 92 dB in oversampling mode).


The chip integrates analogue input clamping protection, a 16-bit SAR ADC, a digital filter, and a 2.5V reference voltage, eliminating the need for external driver amplifiers and significantly simplifying system design. Its 1 MΩ high input impedance ensures signal integrity, making it suitable for high-precision applications such as power monitoring, motor control, and industrial automation.

Supports ±10 V/±5 V/±2.5 V true bipolar input, compatible with various sensor signals.

±21 V input clamping protection prevents overvoltage damage, enhancing system reliability.

Low noise and high interference resistance

SNR 90.5 dB (1 MSPS), increased to 92 dB in oversampling mode (OSR=2).

8 kV ESD protection enhances interference resistance in industrial environments.

Flexible interfaces and low power consumption

Supports SPI/QSPI/parallel interfaces, compatible with DSPs and microcontrollers.

Single 5V power supply (analogue 4.75V–5.25V, digital 2.3V–3.6V), optimised power consumption.
