Instructions:

The ADS8598HIPMR device is an 8-channel integrated data acquisition (DAQ) system based on an 18-bit successive approximation (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC). All input channels are sampled simultaneously to achieve a maximum throughput of 500kSPS per channel.


Each channel of the device has a complete analog front end (AFE) containing a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) with input impedance up to 1MΩ, input clamp, low-pass filter, and ADC input driver. In addition, the device has a low drift, high-precision reference voltage with a buffer for driving the ADC. With a flexible digital interface, the device supports serial, parallel, and parallel byte communication for a variety of host controllers.


The ADS8598H uses a single 5V power supply and can be configured to accept ±10V or ±5V true bipolar input.

- DNL: ±0.5LSB (typical value); INL: ±2.0LSB (typical value)

- SNR: 94dB (typical value); THD: −109dB (typical value)

• Overheating performance:

- Maximum drift: 3ppm/°C

- Gain drift: 6ppm/°C

• On-chip digital filter for oversampling

• Flexible parallel, byte and serial interfaces

• Temperature range: -40°C to +125°C

• Package: Thin square flat (LQFP)-64
