Product Introduction:
The RAA225019ERGBM is a highly configurable PMIC for Intel IMVP9.2 Lunar Lake applications. It is fully integrated with power MOSFET, polyphase controller and current detection circuit. High power density and high energy efficiency at high switching frequencies, ideal for small size applications.
Six phases can be assigned to three outputs (two SVID tracks and one auxiliary track). The SVID1 rail has a maximum phase number of 2 to 6, while the SVID2 and BUCK3 rails can operate in both single-phase and dual-phase configurations. In addition, the device includes an integrated LDO or power gate bypass setup option.
PMIC uses Renesas Electronics R3 modulation technology, which has several advantages over traditional modulation schemes. Its fast dynamic response and dynamic variable switching frequency can effectively reduce the capacitance required at the output end. When the load current drops, the controller automatically controls the phase increase and decrease and the continuous-intermittent on-mode conversion, and can extend the intermittent on-switch period, greatly improve the light-load efficiency and extend the standby time.
