Product Description:

The LTM4613IV is a complete, ultra-low noise, 8A switching mode DC/DC power supply. The switch controller, power FETs, inductors and all supporting components are built into the package. The LTM4613 has an operating input voltage range of 5V to 36V and can support an output voltage range of 3.3V to 15V (set by a single external resistor). Large capacity input and output capacitors are required to complete the design.

Thanks to the high switching frequency and an adaptive on-time current mode architecture, fast transient responses to voltage and load changes are achieved without sacrificing stability.

The built-in input filter and noise cancellation circuit achieve low noise coupling, thus effectively reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI), as shown in Figure 7. In addition, the DC/DC μModule® regulator can be synchronized with an external clock phase to reduce unwanted frequency harmonics and allow PolyPhase® operation for delivering high load currents.
