Product Description:

The AMC3306M25QDWERQ1 precision Delta-σ modulator is optimized for shunt based current measurement. The device has a fully integrated isolated DC/DC converter that supports single-power operation from the low side of the device. The enhanced capacitive isolation gate is certified to VDE V 0884-11 and UL1577 standards. This isolation barrier separates components operating at different common-mode voltage levels in the system, protecting lower voltage components from damage.


The input of the AMC3306M25QDWERQ1 is optimized to connect directly to a shunt resistor or other low-voltage signal source. The integrated isolated DC/DC converter supports unlimited shunt placement, independent of any high-side power supply normally used to power isolated modulators. This feature makes the device a unique solution for space-constrained applications.

• Compact shunt based isolated current detection for:

- HEV/EV on-Board Charger (OBC)

- HEV/EV DC/DC converter

- HEV/EV traction inverter

- HEV/EV Battery Management System (BMS)


Features:

• Complies with AEC-Q100 standard for automotive applications:

- Temperature Class 1: -40 °C to +125°C, TA

• Single-supply operation (3.3V or 5V) with integrated DC/DC converter

• The input voltage range (±250mV) is optimized for current measurement using shunt resistors

• Low DC error:

- Offset voltage error: ±50µV (Max)

- Offset voltage temperature drift: ±1µV/°C (Max)

- Gain error: ±0.2% (Max)

- Gain drift: ±35ppm/°C (Max)

• High CMTI: 75kV/µs (minimum)

• System-level diagnostics

• Low EMI: CISPR-11 and CISPR-25 compliant

• Safety related certifications:

- 6000VPK enhanced isolation according to DIN EN IEC 60747-17 (VDE 0884-17)

- 4250VRMS isolated, UL1577 compliant and 1 minute in duration
