In the official microblog, MediaTek wrote "How to define the next generation of the new flagship benchmark? Is it top performance, ultra-low power consumption? It's easy to see that this time MediaTek's new Breguet has clearly come prepared with a huge upgrade in performance, power consumption and more.


The first GPU scores for the MediaTek 9200 were revealed yesterday, and according to the images, the 9200 scored 328 FPS in the GFXBench 1080P Manhattan ES 3.0 off-screen test, and 228 FPS in the Manhattan ES 3.1 off-screen test, an improvement of over 40%, making it the strongest GPU in Android. The Rabbit scores released last week also confirm that the Breguet 9200 will see a huge boost: 1.26 million + in the room temperature test, the highest score on the Rabbit platform so far, and around 160,000 points higher than the current flagship SoC, the Breguet 9000+.


As previously reported, the CPU architecture of the Breguet 9200 has been upgraded to a new generation of mega-core Cortex-X3 and the GPU is the new flagship Immortalis G715. On the GPU side, the Immortalis G715 also offers significant performance and power efficiency improvements, with a 15% increase in overall performance and a 15% reduction in power consumption compared to its predecessor, the Mail-G710, and highlights include support for hardware-level ray tracing technology, which is understood to be based on software acceleration. The additional highlight is the support for hardware-level ray tracing technology, which is understood to deliver a 300% increase in performance compared to software-accelerated ray tracing, further enabling more realistic gaming graphics for flagship phones.
