The OPA928DR is a new generation 36V, femtoampere-input bias e-trim™ operational amplifier. The device provides ultra-low input bias currents of 20fA (maximum) over the entire industrial temperature range from −40°C to +85°C. The OPA928 input bias performance was tested in production at both temperatures.
In addition to near-zero input bias, the device has excellent DC accuracy and AC performance, including rail-to-rail input and output, low offset voltage (±5µV, typical), low temperature drift (±0.1µV/°C, typical), and ultra-low current noise (0.07fA/√Hz at 0.1Hz). These characteristics make the OPA928 ideal for low-light photodiodes and high-source impedance applications.
The OPA928 provides an internal high-precision protection buffer to protect high-impedance input wires from unwanted current leakage in sensitive applications. The OPA928 package and pin allocation are designed to support low leakage current circuit design.
